Looks like Ignition is no longer available. Mine would not load this AM, could not find anything about ignition on the LogMeIn website, and under our subscriptions Ignition is no longer listed. This was a product we actually paid for.
What gives LogMeIn? Ignition is a must have for us.

Yeah this is really unfortunate. I’ve used them and promoted them since 2007. I’m not going to do that anymore. Looking for alternatives now.

I couldn’t find anything either on this page that they posted on their twitter account.

“Starting in January, we will gradually migrate users of LogMeIn-branded remote access offerings and Ignition-branded remote access offerings to a single, premium access product.”

No ignition will be a deal breaker for us.
Time to begin the search for something else.
Just to be clear, Free is not the issue, it is the lack of communication and removal of features that is going to drive us to a competitor. LogMeIn’s attempt at increased revenue flow will be their downfall. Someone will either buy them out, or they will simply cease to exist.

Like Derek_a, the issue here is not so much money, but more the notice. To be told in the first weeks of my financial year about this, I simply do not have the budget to pay for it, even if I wanted to. We have been using the free version for some considerable time and like it a lot - I also demo it when I’m on the road!
It’s time to move suppliers.
Sorry LogMeIn - a single premium product is not what I and many of your customers want, need, or appreciate.

We have started looking at Team Viewer as a possible alternative, I am impressed so far. It is really too bad though, we love LogMeIn Ignition and wish that would have given us some notice of this change.
Thank you for your feedback. We hope you see the value in our premium offerings. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.

I think that they have truly shot themselves in the foot on this. Not so much the consolidation of services into one product, the notice or lack thereof which seems to not have been communicated across the spectrum.
Plus, there is this blog entry - http://blog.logmein.com/category/investors
Sounds like there’s something afoot at the Circle K.

Questions? You have not answered them anyways, so why ask them…I already asked about ignition and you failed to answer that.
Value, we always saw value. LogMeIn never charged enough in my opinion. Now that you have realized it, you have decided to do completely the opposite, over-charge. Your lack of notice and communication also now shows the truth behind your company, you are cash strapped and lack revenue.
Already downloaded TeamViewer and too am impressed with it. Not exactly LogMeIn, but it will work just fine for us. The price is not that bad either, not subscription based, one time fee, then pay for major upgrades only.

No answer? Just… the products that you paid for are no longer available? Tough?

I can’t tell you how long I’ve used LogMeIn for, but it’s been a long time. I haven’t received a thing in terms of notification.
For that reason, I’ll be using Teamviewer from now on.

Where there a management change and this one person or persons threw the axe down?
Wait a minute, Ignition is going away too? What the heck?!? Ignition is a tool I use hourly! Mine is still working at the moment, but my assistant’s apparently uninstalled itself, and of course the Google download link just points to Pro now, and nothing on the website about Ignition. This is just stupid. I’ve been a paying LMI customer for years with Central, Ignition, and Ignition on my iOS devices, and the only notification I’ve seen of changes is the threads on Spiceworks. This is not the way to treat customers. And the Pro prices are absolutely insane - I couldn’t afford that for 1/4 of the devices I have (I said half on another thread and then looked at the price again…). I don’t get riled up over much, but color me angry right now.
Apparently WENT away, past tense.
Well, on my iPhone, iPad, and desktop Ignition is still working, so that’s why I say going away…

They have a new LMI app that’s free that you can use and it’s the same as Ignition. My Ignition on iPad is still working.

Well I paid about $1.89/month for the paid app… glad the app is now free however I’m wondering if it will work with LMI Central “free” accounts (while they still are around)
I just paid for mine… Mines is still working, and got no notifications… If they pull it they better be refunding my subscription fees.
