Spiceworks & Jira?

Does anyone know of a way to integrate Spiceworks and Jira? Any plugins? Not sure if this is on the radar, etc.

No plugins and nothing on the radar that I know of.

How do you picture the integration working?

I am interested in this too. Not quite sure how we would use it but a company I contract for uses JIRA and Spiceworks.

I would guess since JIRA’s issue tracking is much more powerfull, you would want some way to pull in the inventory in Spiceworks to JIRA

Thanks guys - yeah I am not too sure how it would work programatically-I am not a programmer by any means.

Found this on the JIRA API:

It would be nice to be able to pull in associated issues from Jira and tag them in SpiceWorks. I hear the reverse is being worked on at Atlassian - but not 100%.

Any updates on this - we are being tasked with a similar project - to systematically pull Spiceworks inventory into JIRA.

We have a similar request. We use Jira for ticketing and Change Reqeusts. I would like to link changes and incidents to CIs in my Spiceworks inventory. Sort of a poor mans CMDB.
