Preorder! From $999

Lectric has ripped the veil off its new XP4 series of folding utility e-bikes, opening them for preorder with some notable bundles of up to $365 in free gear. Slated to begin shipping in June, you can now secure the next generation of America’s favorite e-bikes, with the Standard XP4 models coming with $79 in free gear at $999 shipped while the XP4 750 Long-Range models come with $356 in free gear at $1,299 shipped. These bundles would normally run you $1,078 and $1,655 at full price, but as is often the case with this brand, the discounts are on the included add-on bundles, with it safe to say we won’t be seeing any of the rare price cuts here anytime soon. You’ll want to get your orders in to take advantage of the upcoming shipping date next month, and head below to get a rundown on what to expect.

Lectric is continuing its commitment to accessible pricing while still giving fans improved performance, taking big notes from what riders have been asking for from its past generations. Coming in an array of new colorways, the Standard XP4 e-bikes come with a 500W brushless gear hub motor (peaking at 1,092W) while the XP4 750 Long-Range e-bikes sport an upgraded 750W motor (peaking at 1,310W). Both of these motors will now utilize the brand’s Stealth M24 tech for an even quieter performance, providing speeds of up to 20 MPH, unless you live in a state that permits its 28 MPH max speed.

The Standard models come powered by 10.4Ah battery to provide up to 50 miles of travel with PAS activated, while the XP4 750 models are getting a larger 17.5Ah battery that takes things further for up to 85 miles. And speaking of their pedal assistance, we’re seeing five new riding modes with these models – Eco, Tour, Sport, Sport+, and Turbo – which will all vary in mileage to speed ratios, depending on which are activated – plus, they come supported by a newly added Torque sensor.

There are tons of new features worth gushing about here, like the new redesigned frames with a zero-degree stem, the detachable 3.5-inch TFT color display, the integrated taillight with brake lighting and turn signals, the new LevelUp rear rack with a 150-pound payload (330 pound overall bike payload), 20-inch by 3-inch mixed terrain tires with fenders over each, an 8-speed Shimano Altus derailleur, a repositioned non-drive side key location and charging port, and much more. You can get a more thorough rundown of these new features in our original launch coverage here.
