As we reported previously, Amazon is once again winding up to unleash its first Prime Day event of the year and we now have official confirmation it will kick off the four-day sale event on July 8. This also traditionally indicates some major sales from the competition, including the likes of Best Buy and Walmart, but according to our sources, the next Target Circle Week is getting ready to take on the Prime Day event on July 13.
Target’s Circle Week sales aren’t quite as rare as Prime Day events, but they do tend to deliver some serious price drops across just about everything the retailer sells, from Apple, Google, and Samsung gear, right through to apparel for the whole family, grocery items, and more.
We now know Amazon’s July Prime Day event is going big this year, with four straight days and “millions” of deals from July 8 through to July 11.
The competitor sales tend to kick-off ahead of time in hopes of stealing some sales away from the major Amazon events, which might very well be the case when it comes to Walmart and Best Buy. But Target is looking to sweep up the Prime event this year as we have now been told from a company rep that the next Target Circle Week sale will start on July 13 and run for a full week through to July 19.
While we are still expecting more details on what will actually be on sale for the Target Prime Day competitor sale this year, some light hints have come our way in the form of “must have items for summer, back-to-school essentials and more available in store, online and via same day delivery with drive up and order pick up.”
It seems an odd choice to start the big summer Target Circle Week sale after Amazon’s biggest Prime Day in history is all wrapped up, but it either way looks like there will be more deals floating around to kick off summer 2025 than ever before – and we will still haven’t heard about the all but imminent Walmart and Best Buy events yet.
