Best Buy takes on Prime Day with Black Friday in July sale: Doorbusters on top tech, more (No membership required)

While Best Buy just transitioned from its own early members-only sale to the now live 4th of July sale, it is officially readying its Prime Day competitor sale too. Best Buy’s Black Friday in July event will go live one day before Amazon Prime Day and we have the details for you below.

Best Buy set to take on Prime Day with upcoming Black Friday in July sale

Unlike Amazon’s Prime Day sale that is largely only available to its Prime members, Best Buy already ran its members-only event and is now readying the summer Black Friday sale anyone can take advantage of.

Amazon has decided that, for the first time, it would expand its first Prime Day event of the year from the usual 2-day affair to four days, running from July 8 through July 11 next week.

Best Buy is following suit, expanding its typical 3-day competitor sale with the Black Friday in July event that kicks off on July 7 and runs straight through until July 13.

That will presumably leave shoppers with nearly an entire week’s chance to land some of the big ticket items that go live early morning on July 7, but Best Buy has also told us that it will be offering a revolving door of deals with new offers everyday of the sale. It is unclear whether or not this is just referring to the usual Deals of the Day offerings, maybe an expanded version of them, or additional daily deals on top of them.

But perhaps more exciting, is the Doorbuster offers. Best Buy has confirmed that its Black Friday in July sale will include Doorbuster offers that will feature “some of the hottest deals on top tech” in addition to “deals on TVs, laptops, headphones, video games, electric bikes, and more, just in time for back to school.” This will apparently be the very first time Best Buy delivers Doorbuster deals during its summer event.

New deals will be available every day, and all offers will be available through the Best Buy App, BestBuy.com and in stores.
