Nintendo’s latest Pro Controller may not have Hall effect sticks, but this new $40 PowerA Switch 2 gamepad does

Pre-order $40

One of the more noticeable omissions on the Switch 2 is the lack of Hall effect sticks on its Joy-Cons. The same goes for Nintendo’s new Pro Controller for the Switch 2, which also doesn’t appear to include Hall effect sticks – at least there are now mentions of it on the official site. If you’re looking for a more durable and drift-resistant alternative, PowerA’s new Advantage Wired Controller is definitely worth considering. This is the brand’s latest release which is now up for pre-order starting at $39.99 shipped. It comes in a few different finishes, but only the white one has Lumectra lighting and is priced at $49.99 shipped. Hit the jump for a closer look and more details.

Not to mention, a September/October 2021 release would fall in line perfectly with Nintendo’s typical console launch schedule. Head below for more details.
