This thread is for people who are happy about things. We have a rant thread, so I figured we needed an anti-rant thread to match

I’ll start us off - we’ve just got the first batch of results in for our IT customer satisfaction surveys, and we’re currently at 93% (using the Net Promoter scale)

I have a lot of things to huzzah in my life.

My bosses rock. My local office boss is not good with computers, but he doesn’t cause trouble either and even better, he trusts me and listens to my opinions and advice. My regional boss is not into nitty-gritty IT details but knows enough about technology and technological concepts that I can explain my projects to him and he’ll understand and come with useful feedback.
I’ve been the only IT person here for a long time and just a few weeks ago got a new coworker. He’s got waaay more experience than I do and I’ve been learning tons from him. I think he’s going to be a huge asset to the company. I’m glad to be leaving my job in competent hands when I…
start maternity leave next month, since hubby and I are getting our first baby! Which, although it’s going to be a big change and a lot of responsibility, is definitely worth a Huzzah!
