The SpiceWorld Mobile App is now live and ready to be downloaded!

The mobile app is super handy and a must have if you’re coming to SpiceWorld. It has the full agenda with speaker details, a map of the exhibit hall so you can quickly find the sponsors, and breakout sessions & overall conference surveys so you can give us your feedback.

Downloading the mobile app:

  1. To find the app, go to your app store and search “SpiceWorld”.

  2. Once the app has downloaded and you’ve got it opened, you’ll see SpiceWorld Austin 2018. Just hit download to load the content for this year’s event.

  3. Now you’ve got the app!

  4. It’ll prompt you to allow notifications and we sure hope you do. We’ll communicate any agenda changes, reminders about what’s happening when and where, and many other need-to-know details about the event through the notifications.

If you want to connect with other SpiceWorld attendees you can log in using the first and last name you used to register for SpiceWorld. Once logged in, you’ll be able to message other attendees, share contact information, and save things to your own agenda.

  1. Click the three lines in the upper left hand corner

  2. Click “log in for more details”

  3. You’ll type in your name as you have it in your SpiceWorld registration

  4. An email will then be sent to the email address you registered for SpiceWorld with to verify that it is you and then you’re all set up.

Don’t want to download the app? You can see the browser version here: https://crowd.cc/spiceworld2018

Unfortunately, we don’t have a Windows version of the app, so if you do have a Windows phone, we recommend bookmarking the browser version for easy access.

How is this different from the one I downloaded a couple weeks ago? Or is it just filled in more? The one I downloaded had session titles & times but no details.

Thanks!

@dana-spiceworks

It’s been a while since I’ve had this app on my smart phone. (Did not get to go in 2017)

Today was the official release of the SpiceWorld app in it’s complete form. You shouldn’t need to re-download it…the next time you open it, it will contain the full and complete details. Let me know if you have any issues.

Downloaded the App and supper excited to meet as many of you as I can and of course eat some great food. Just sayin.

The app is great and is really necessary if you want to get the most out of the conference.
Thanks Dana M (Spiceworks) !

I love the new app. A way to connect with spiceheads and vendors easier. One thing i was looking for are the Vendor’s corresponding booth #s, as we have a map of the floor with #s on it.

Wow, this seems really convenient! I was just updating my Google Trips and reflecting I miss paper boarding passes and itineraries, this app makes it easier to wrap my head around a virtual schedule.

Hey Slava - yes, we will be adding the sponsor booth number details. Look for those to be complete by the end of tomorrow.

Great app with great info. Last night after I down loaded it I sat for an hour looking through everything. So much great info. Thanks for this great tool. Im sure as we get closer to the event it will fill out even more. This is great.

@dana-spiceworks

I just searched the Google Play store on my Android phone and I just can’t see the Spiceworld app. I can find it if I search on my PC. Is it a compatibility issue with my 4 year old Samsung Note 2 phone?

This looks great for keeping track of all the sessions, looking forward to it.
