May I ask, what does “better usability” mean?

I received an email from noreply@sw informing me that a feature request (originally dating back to 2009) had been released in version 7.5.00055. That’s awesome, and arrived before I retired
But just how exactly does it work? And with the addition of HTML support for helpdesk tickets, Spiceworks keeps getting better. But where does this HTML show up? e.g., In the notification emails? In the HD itself?
Inquiring minds need to know.

Looks like the Community caching issue is still around - my spiceworks settings page shows 7.5.00053 as the most current. We used to run a plugin that alerted us to updated but that stopped working too

@moonVariable205 - On the Remote Sites and Settings page, we added an accordion control, and anchors. We have a few links into that section, and wanted to make it clear where the action was needed. They fiddled with some spacing and text sizing as well
@rormeister - That’s cool, I didn’t even know we did that! (send emails for feature requests). Which feature request was it?
@tim - Same problem we experienced the week of Thanksgiving?

If you subscribe to a feature request, you might hear (years later) that it’s been introduced into the ‘Works’.
There were two related:
http://community.spiceworks.com/feature_request/show/Help%20Desk/238 (it was this one)
and
http://community.spiceworks.com/feature_request/show/Help%20Desk/993
However, it looks like they simply incorporated a plug-in by @RobDunn https://community.spiceworks.com/appcenter/app/plugin_1427 which was automatically disabled after upgrading to 7.5

Would like to know myself as it only appear to be tweaking of the layout

Ah yes, inline attachments. We added that natively rather then having to use the plugin. That was in 7.5.00050 thought, interesting that you didn’t receive notification until 7.5.00055

The plugin still works, most of the time, when the appropriate version information locations are updated on the Spiceworks website. Sometimes there is a location that is missed and it can mess with the update notifications in the App.
There were one or two locations that didn’t have the updated version information just recently, so the update plugin wasn’t reporting there was a newer version available. That was fixed:
I think they just went through and marked a bunch of things that 7.5 included, not necessarily 7.5.00055.
I just got an update on Dec 2nd (when .00055 was released) that indicated that this was fulfilled, as Absolute Timestamps is now included in 7.5 as a native option:
Which also means that this plugin should be marked “7.5 USERS - THIS PLUGIN IS NO LONGER NEEDED AS THIS FEATURE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE APP”:
I just messaged the Author Brian to see if he’ll mark that on the plugin page as well.

@Tim - looks like we had and issue that we fixed in 7.5.00055, we also did some cache clearing as well. You should get the updated version, but it might looks like this: 7.5.000577.5.00053. We have that one fixed as well, so once you upgrade you shouldn’t see the problem any more
