Adding to Inventory with API

Hi, is there any way to utilize the API or otherwise to Add devices to the Spiceworks Inventory?

We were more hoping to somehow automate an import process so that we can inventory some hardware items that can’t currently be scanned by Spice… Any method more like an API possible?

Currently the import method described above is the method used to import data into Spiceworks.
