So, I used the Spiceworks RFQ tool to get a quote for the first time about a week ago. I got one quote that was waaay above MSRP. One quote that was the same price as the local staples store. and one decently priced quote.

I have never used either of the 3 companies that responded to the RFQ before, but one of them will likely get a new customer if/once I get the approval to buy the item.

I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with any non-“featured vendors” and the spiceworks RFQ. What vendors responded?

You have to negotiate or bargaining with them. Usually the first quote is not the final price.
