Sorry if this is in the wrong group and/or already asked, but I need to find a good program that would audit every PC/Server I have on my Domain. I am hoping that it would provide me with a complete inventory include license keys that I can provide to a company that could make my life very unpleasant.

I am also looking for License keys…I haven’t been able to have spicework provide that. Can it?

It can for some products but not all. Are these all MS products or third party apps as well?

Post back when you find an answer. I’ve tried SW inventory (we don’t use it at this particular client) and I’ve been having a hard time logging into some machines for some reason.

Prefer Both, but right now MS apps.

Spiceworks should do a decent job of getting those. This may very well work as well http://www.microsoft.com/sam/en/ca/msia.aspx

I’ve always had good luck with Belarc Advisor, but that’s for personal use only, so I would recommend BelManage.

I am also looking for a tool which will tell me some / all of the following things:

Machine name
Last user logged on
Software installed / Licence keys
Current IP address

That type of thing. Can Spiceworks do that? I have only every used it for helpdesk call logging - probably more down to time than anything else.

Yes. Spiceworks can get you all of that information. Although you may not get the license key for every piece of software installed. You will also not get a list of software that is running only in user space, like a portable app, though I don’t know of any software that can get you that anyways.
