Authenication failure with Domain Admin account

I’m new to spiceworks and tried running a scan. 98% of the windows XP boxes came back with scan error "Authentication failed for user ‘’.

I am a domain admin and using my domain credentials to scan.

Try using this:

yourdomain\Administrator

password

That should do the trick for you.

We do not use or have an AD account of “Administrator”.

It looks like we are having some sort of global WMI issue though, so we are working on getting this fixed.
