I have 250+ workstations (windows xp, vista and 7). Most of that scan without issues, but I have several that are getting Authentication failed for user Administrator. I have tried Administrator@domain.com, domain\Administrator, and Administrator. It does not make sense because all of the computers are on the domain. Has anyone seen this behavior?

The problem machines, are they completly different models or software installed differently. Are they all in the same specific location, site, or department?

Do these computers have windows firewall or similar software that could block communication? If so, disable or temporary uninstall that software to see if that is the problem. I have seen windows fw being a problem if it was left on.

Being on the domain is interesting. You might want to disband that device from the domain and the reattach to the domain. There might be some communication with the domain.
