Keith is assuming and so am I that you are having issues with inventory from Spiceworks. Is this correct? If you are in a workgroup then after the firewall settings would come: are you sure all the local admin passwords are the same for your clients?
If your issue is not with Spiceworks Inventory, Then what are you trying to authenticate to?

Kevin, you’re still not providing enough information. What have you done to resolve? Did you use the search feature in the community to look at the other gazillion of people that have a similar issue? You are not the first with scan errors; please read some of those other threads and do some research before posting, and then when you post, please give lots of detail so we can help you on the path to resolving it.

Thanks all! All Admin passwords are not the same. I will try that and post back.

The admin passwords should resolve your issues. ALSO: Do remember to also modify the firewall to accept Spiceworks.

If you do not open WMI and remoteadmin then you will get an error regarding “No open ports for this device were found to be responding”

Thanks…I have resolved the issues. All devices are scanned and inventoried.
