Hi Guys

I was wondering if it is possible to have spiceworks to create specific tickets on a daily basis.

My reason for all this is, I need some of my staff to do repeated daily maintenance tasks and currently create these tickets on a daily basis. Is it possible to have a task where spiceworks can create these tickets automatically on a daily basis?

We had the same problem, but Spiceworks does not create automatic tickets.

I wrote an application to do this if you’re interested? It sits on a server and runs once a day to email the spiceworks server any tickets that need creating.

Yeh - I looked at both those options before and decided to make my own - it’s easier to maintain - see screen shot:

It allows you to have Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Annually recurring tickets.

Don’t know if it’s of any use but we use ‘SendLater’ plugin for Outlook. We have a large number of daily tasks, monthly and quarterly tasks that the team need to action adn show they have actioned - SendLater seemed to fit the bill perfectly - create one e-mail, tell it to SendLater on whatever schedule (daily, weekely etc) save it and hey presto. There is a minor cost to purchase it…but I have to say it has been extremely worth it.

I’m asking you Andrew. I would like the software so that i can run it on my spiceworks server. i would have emailed you but i am still working on those privileges. also still getting used to spiceworks.

ps: grab this app… does not translate to want that plugin. lol haha
