Back from exile

Many months ago I post a topic about being “banned” from Spiceworks (you can check that here ), to be honest right now I felt like it has been years since the last time I logged in here. Many of you told me to change jobs, for a good (or a bad) thing I haven’t do that yet but I’m planning to; once I’m done with the actual project (this is the last strike, or we take it out of the park or we are out once and for all).

After all of these months (years for me :P) I’m finally back to check, read, post once again and see what has been of SW since I left. I don’t think many people miss me here but it’s good to know that nevertheless you always receive someone with arms wide open.

So that’s it and I’ll try to keep up somehow, hoping not to be banned again

What a bummer, being banned from a techie site by your boss. I’d probably go through withdrawals if I were banned.

So, did your boss have a change of heart and let you back on, or did he have a change of job and is no longer your boss?

I remember this, welcome back. Did your boss realise that banning his staff from a useful resource was counterproductive? Better yet, did his boss realise that and fire him?

@Duke: Well, he hasn’t realized yet that this is a useful place, unfortunately, except another coworker and I, almost nobody here know English (we are not from the US, by the way, and our main language is Spanish) but he did realize that when my coworker needed help I have to step in and help; and he allowed me to check tickets more often once again in addition to my daily work. About the fire: well in our current project he received an ultimatum to make things right or he will be fired for real this time (and no matter what happen this time I’ll be leaving too)
