Ok, I am looking to remove application names from my SW inventory list. The actual application has already been removed from the machine totally including reg. Now I have a listing for an applcation that is no longer installed on any machine. As well after removing all the software application I rescanned to see if it would remove itself.

How can i get rid of these listings that are not installed anywhere?

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

This would be great and easy to do , But there is no device that it is showing to be installed on. This is why im wanting to get rid of it. I removed the software from the machine and then after i purged SW of all devices last week. No one has been on these machines and the software has not been reinstalled. But the software returns to the inventory list with “0-installed on”

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

Follow at least #1 - #3 of this how-to: Troubleshooting Spiceworks Inventory Inconsistencies - Spiceworks Community

Then restart SW and scan this device again. The software should disappear.

{"@type":"Person
bytesnake
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/bytesnake"}},{"@type":"Answer
I was going to recommend #1 in the link that bytesnake posted.
