clear software installed on device

Can i clear all software installed on single device?

For example:

I have pc35 with 85 software installed.

Now i format pc and reinstall all software (only 60 sw), but i don’t want delete pc from inventory because i entered of the additional information (Invoice, Purchase date, etc… etc…), but want delete only software installed record.

If possible?

The only way I’ve found to do this is to reconnect it to the network and have SW rescan the device. There is currently no way to delete the software inventory without deleting the device.

I change any options first scan?
