I have just set up the cloud helpdesk and logging in fine using AD auth. Moving from the desktop version, this cloud version kinda seems pretty basic, with so much functionality no longer supported. From addons/module supports, custom tabs and attributes, articles and notices, costings to name a few.

I know I can’t really complain as its free, but is than any live roadmap or features gantt chart where we can see features progression etc or any area where we can submit possibly requests

3 Spice ups

You can’t compare. Both solutions are based on different code base. CHD never claimed to have reached feature equality to legacy Windows edition. Several years ago, it seemed that Spiceworks intended to reach feature equality or something close before expiring support for the legacy Windows edition. But already a year ago, such intentions were no longer pronounced. The documentation reported the supported feature set of CHD which was known to be much below the legacy Windows edition. So that’s nothing to be astonished.

Feel free to vote up existing feature requests and to add your own . There are several feature requests on some features some Spiceheads consider more missing and already known of legacy Windows edition.

Yes and no. Yes there exists a product roadmap . But I consider it outdated. As far as I understood, even this product roadmap may be updated soon. It is a living document but it is not daily synchronized with development. No, a features gantt chart is not published. I don’t know if such a chart exists internally to development. And there doesn’t exist a feature request to get such a chart published. Feel free to create such a feature request.

Last year, the main update of product plan for CHD happened as a topic . This topic was then integrated in appropriate forum groups as sticky and also integrated (partially) into product roadmap (although not updating its publication date).

You may subscribe to updates of CHD release notes . This seems to be the closest implementation of features gantt chart, of what has been achieved already, not of what is planned in future. You’ll find the subscribe button on the top right, at least in the view I get.

Yes, I already referenced the appropriate feature request section above and repeat it here.
