Hi All

I recently moved my office to a new sub-net and all the devices have updated IP’s. When an inventory scan runs on the new sub-net the computers that have an old IP registered in Spice will not update. I’ve reviewed a few posts and can not find a definite fix.

If anyone was able to resolve this issues your assistance would be appreciated.

If you just go to the Scan page (Inventory → My Network ->Scan) and try just adding the ip of one Windows computer on the new subnet (making sure to remove any scan ranges that may include this ip), does the scan progress show the device to be scanned and inventoried successfully?

If it does and nothing changes, what happens if you try scanning by DNS name in the same way as mentioned above?

If neither work, try digging into the device in inventory and going to Tools → Rescan.
