Hi,

I use Network Monitor at work to look at company’s websites and some time ago weird problem has appeared. NM shows Connection Timed Out error, but sites are working perfectly fine. Error is still showing even after restart of NM and only solution I found is to remove every website with error from list and add it again, but that’s very annoying, because this situation can repeat itself twoo or three times a week. What can I do, to make it work fine? For first two weeks NM worked fine, but after that this issues started to appear.

I cannot speak intelligently to Network Monitor, we use a few different products but one solution for basic up/down web monitoring I’ve had very good luck with has been uptimerobot.com. Beyond that we use a custom script to check for our FTP and Website status’ using their return codes, etc. Good luck!
