Spiceworks is uninstalling programs off computers with out any prompting. What can I do to stop this?

Are you sure that it’s actually uninstalling things or is it saying that applications were uninstalled? I would think its the latter of the two…

Do a seach for similar items and you’ll find loads of info on how WMI works and what may be happening.

Yeah John, it just displays that… dispite it not actually happening. I see Installed/Uninstalled notifications all the time, ignore them

John, what makes you think that SpiceWorks is uninstalling applications? Are applications disappearing from your machines? What leads you to believe that SW is responsible?

slatronica and timmy are right - this is likely a problem with Spiceworks’ scans, not actual uninstallation.

Check your Inventory for scan errors.

Can you attach a screenshot of your scan settings? (Settings → Network Scan)
