Different attributes for custom groups (inventory)?

Hi!

After my first request in this community was solved (thanks ;)) I’ve got a new question:

Once I imported all my devices from Acccess to Spiceworks (using a CSV file), I would like that, depending the Group (Laptops, Printers, Smartphones…) the attributes that you can complete/see were specific for each group…

For example: I need “IMEI” attribute for the smartphone devices, not for laptops, but I don’t know if there is a way to show only the fields you want for any devices group.

I’ve been searching on the configuration options but I haven’t seen nothing related with that.

There’s not really a good way to do this within the inventory. Custom attributes are available at all times and can’t be limited to certain device types.

Well, I think I’ll have to leave blank attributes when I don’t need them.
