I don’t know what it is about these little vinyl figurines, but they sure are cute. Having my own little army of cheerful Grogus just helps make my days brighter. It’s funny, but I’ve never really been much of a collector of any other characters, but Baby Yoda changed that for me. And I did wait a few months, but decided to unbox them because life is short and sometimes you gotta live a little.
Here’s my tiny army:
(
okay, some of these are xmas ornaments, but why keep them in storage all year when I can look at them everyday instead?!)
Another neat thing I have to share is our friend Ceci (who many of you may remember) transformed this t-rex Funko Pop from Jurassic Park into SpiceRex! How cool is that?
We’d love to hear from you!
Do you or someone in your household collect Funko Pops?
Alternatively, if you have some other neat figurines that decorate your work space we’d love to see them!

I wouldn’t describe what I have as a collection but I do have a few of them, mostly Batman/DC comics related (outside of DC I have Doc Brown, Walter White, Marvin the Martian, and the Night King from Game of Thrones). When they first got kinda popular I subscribed to their DC Comics lootbox for a tiny bit, though most of the ones I’ve gotten since then have been gifts from my youngest sister.
I mostly just use them for decor around my comic books or blu-rays, similar to my amiibos & Nintendo games (I have all the Metroid & Zelda amiibos).

No - my kids have some though.

I collect funko and so does my wife.
I keep mine in boxes because its easier to stack and show them off that way.
She tried to build a 3 tier shelf and displayed them on that, but she had to keep rearrange them because some would block others.

My kids gifted me this (it’s the only one I have):

No Fun with no Funko Pops
I do however believe you should enjoy those all year round. I used to display a few Superman ornaments with my medal collection.

I have four of them.
A few years ago they released a Mexican-themed one named “T.J.”. Since I have lived half-time in Tijuana (a city nicknamed “TJ”) for over ten years now, I had to get that one.
When the Blade Runner 2049 movie came out, they were giving away a free one if you bought tickets for an IMAX showing online. I ended up with two: Deckard and Joi.
And for Christmas 2021, a friend gifted me the “Jon Snow on the Iron Throne” pop.
I’m not allowed to buy any more until I start clearing out some stuff at the apartment since it’s too full at the moment.

I don’t have too many Funko pops. I’ll pick them up once in a while (I’m looking at a little SPAM one right now) but I have a few anime figures, most of them aren’t in my office for reasons.
That TJ one is really cool looking! If it’s the one I found through googling, I really like that sugar skull design! Very cool that you have a connection to Tijuana!
I know…I am the same way! There are so many Funko Pops I’d love to get, but space is of the essence and if I let it, collecting these little figures could become a bit of an issue for me real quick. Like this Grogu Thanksgiving Day parade balloon . Who thinks of this stuff?! Amazing.

I have a few Funko Pops of various characters (all still in their original, unopened boxes for display):
-
Rumpelstiltskin from the show “Once upon a Time”
-
Edgar Allen Poe
-
Two versions of Pickle Rick from Rick and Morty (one as a plain pickle and one with the the artificial appendages he crafted)
-
Merlin (with Archimedes the Owl) from Disney’s “The Sword in the Stone”
… and I think there might be one more that I just can’t recall at the moment. If I remember, I’ll edit this post once I check at home and see what it is (if anything)
I’ve also taken to getting a few of the Funko Soda characters as well; although, I haven’t been fortunate enough to get one of the exclusive 1-out-of-6 versions yet.
Edit: It turns out I actually only have 5 of them. I was either misremembering or future-remembering another one.

I’m not a fan of the funko pop design. I only collect manga books and plushies. Also art/illustrations books sometimes.

There are actually two T.J. ones; the earlier one (which is what I have) is orange/brown color scheme, and is now vaulted. There’s a newer one in a black/purple/silver color scheme that is still available. But yes, I love the look!
Funko Bob Ross approves this post.
