Been trying Beta III and tried to add a “domain.dk” in Cloud Services Domain Registration

I can add the domain, but get the error “domain” is not responding to ping

Well it’s not a error actually, cause IMCP ping is closed in the firewall

Maybe there could be another check on port 80/443?

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

Hi Frederik,

You’re right, it’s not an error, and you can tell Spiceworks to not ping that domain to get rid of it.

If you click on the domain itself, there will be a menu for configuring the domain. If you click “manual edit”, you can uncheck the option “Domain can be tracked by pinging the host” which will get rid of that notification.

Thanks for helping out with the beta.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

Sounds like everything is working correctly.

try domain.dk:80 or domain.dk:443.

That will send pings over that, but if it’s totally shrugging off ICMP it’s not going to reply to pings.

{"@type":"Person
preissner
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/preissner"}},{"@type":"Answer

I turned off the ping option, and I’m still getting emails. I even change the notification option to not email alerts for web domains, and it’s still barking at me.

{"@type":"Person
curtismorrow5101
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/curtismorrow5101"}},{"@type":"Answer
