Testing out this ESET ERA 6 Console and all I can is say is WTF!

Cant build MSI packages? I need to deploy the remote agent, then push the AV installer. Then push the activation. Then push the policy.

Things are suppose to get simpler you know!

I am thinking of stripping it at going back to ERA 5.

Anyone on the same boat?

ERA 5 is expected to die along with AV 5 at the end of 2018. If they extend support I may just sign on the dotted line.

Just letting you know that the upcoming release of the 6.4 build is slated to include all in one installers (with Agent and Av in one MSI). The release is upcoming very soon, just thought I would give you a heads up!

Good to know. Cause I signed up for a trial of BitDefender Cloud for MSPs and well… What can I say…

ERA V6 sucks. After being out a full year it still sucks badly. Since V5 will be dropped soon we had it with V6 and after being ESET client since Nod32 v2 switched to Kaspersky. Our Kaspersky roll-out is still on-going but quite pleased so far. Though the logic with agents, installers and policies is similar. But at least it has a proper management console with real time feedback for everything.
