Google “windows password reset boot disk”. The one I’ve used is a Linux distro that allows me to clear any XP/Vista/7 admin password to a blank password.
Let me know if you need further guidance.

Probably easier to reset the password using a pw reset utility. You can download
Offline NT & Registry Editor (http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
UBCD4Win and use Salas PW Renew (http://www.ubcd4win.com/)
Hirens which has a few (Hiren's BootCD 15.2 - All in one Bootable CD » www.hiren.info)
Alternatively, if you actually want the pw, you would have to dump the pw hash and crack it with a dictionary, rainbow table, or brute force… Like I said, way easier to reset it

Konboot works well. Pop it in the drive boot from CD and let it load and there’s no need for password just put in the username and hit enter. Go in as the admin and change the password.
Trinity Rescue Kit is my go-to for resetting passwords on Windows client OSes.

+1 for UBCD
the old locksmith on ERD commander IIRC worked well
but MS also have their emergency recovery disc too
may well point to a failed / failing HDD so you may need to look to your backups :o(

Ophcrack is the best!!! it recove the password !!! don’t change it! is better because touching the SAM file isn’t so good!!!

Ophcrack usually works…Also Trinity Rescue Kit and Hiren’s Boot CD
Best of luck to you.
Please note that if you have encrypted your drive you will not be able to use any recovery tool.
