Hello,
I wanted to see if anyone has used Fortinet switches? If so how would you say they stack up to HP, Netgear, Juniper etc… when it comes to CLI, GUI and functionality .
I feel that the price is right for this one and looking to get Fortinet firewall and figured hey keep it standard.
Let me know thanks

Nope, I have not, not a big Fortinet fan.

I have looked at them, they seem like they would be fine for basic stuff. I do like that you can manage them through your firewall, which would be handy for small deploys. Depending on your features they might be a good fit.

Never had a FortiSwitch, but I have Fortigate for a few years now.
It’s fine, but I think it’s really pricey with the given features.
We’re a medium organization, and it looks like Fortigate would fit better in a much larger organizations.

Have to say I was surprised to not see them on the Gartner report.
You can get an HPE / Aruba 2920 with 24 ports of PoE+ for not much more than that. Those things are really solid.
