Here is a decent rundown of 10 of them. Most are free at least for personal use. Commercial or heavy users will most likely have to pay at least something per month.

Not quite 10 by my count, but Gantter is #1 on that site too. I like it because it ties directly to google apps / google drive.

Gantt Project is an Open Source program and it is capable to generate charts which can be uploaded to a FTP, direct from the program, to be viewed in any browser.

I use it and works really fine!

Sorry maybe I should had explained my self clearly, what I’m trying to develop is an intranet page that allows users to create gantt charts

All you have to have is Chrome browser, you can run it locally:

While not web based, projectLibre is a fairly good one.

Open source of course, of course.
