Hi, I recently passed my CCNA exams, and now in process of getting work experience. I really love to travel and never was able to settle in one place for long time, so I see my future career working remotely, true internet. As I mentioned before I have CCNA certification. Was thinking about studding CCNA security and wireless, but will they help me securing my dream job? Any ideas?

Whilst certification will help you secure that dream job people will also be looking for experience. You may hate staying in the same place for long periods but getting your foot in the door at a company and then gaining experience of an office environment could provide you with a spring board to getting the job you want.

It’d be worth looking at consultancy vacancies too, whilst that may mean you have to stay in the same area it does give you the option to move around.

The problem is different people hold certificates, experience and degrees in different regards.

Try to find a job with a solution provider (not an ISP…). The type of company that all these companies around the nation outsource their IT to. This will get you TONS of experience on all sorts of hardware and software, and you can be on the road the bulk of the time working at customer sites.

Tons of temp jobs that will move you around. Take a look on indeed.com
