If youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu can believe it. It’s a Friday once again. Hello everyone and happy Friday. I hope your work week went by quick and your weekend takes its time and is relaxing. I have been battling a cold or something all week, and so I hope by the end of business today it clocks out and leave my system. If it does I do have some plans, like Friday Night Magic tonight. Grinding in FFXIV, FFX, and maybe some Oblivion. In FFXIV, I finally have the motivation to grinding through the daily quests to get the tome stones needed to proper gear to progress the latest patch. I have enjoyed Oblivion but was told I should do side quests and level more before continuing but I won’t lie, I can’t find them. The Empire doesn’t seem to mind that the Emperor is dead, they’re too busy telling me about their favorite color.

Install the damn AC unit. The 30C we had overnight was not pleasant. Other than that, cleaning, laundry, and I have a BBQ with friends on Sunday.

Yes. Drip is better, but don’t spit on instant coffee. There are some wonderful brands. Marley Coffee comes to mind.

On my steam deck I have Fallen Aces, and I’m checking out a new game Slormancer.

On my PC… I honestly don’t know. I still have the final boss fight for Lords of the Fallen - Umbral ending, but I’m kind of demotivated with how long that fight is.
Actually, Frostpunk 2 just got a big update, maybe I’ll play that again.

Since my car needs a new clutch, I won’t be going far, but mowing the back lawn will be my top priority.

What games do you want to play this weekend?
I can’t seem to finish a game recently, I just keep getting distracted but I’m still having fun and enjoying my down time so that’s all gravvy. I’ll end up playing some Borderlands 3 for sure with my buddy, really close to the platinum on this one. Then on to the DLC! I’m sure I’ll check out Doom: Dark Ages and hopefully play some more Expedition 33. I also need to play some more Oblivion, I’ve gotten pretty far. I think I’m level 30 or something like that. Gotta finish up all the factions.

What things do you want to do this weekend?
My wife and I are taking our son to the zoo for the first time on Saturday. I’m so excited! My wife also get her a very nice camera for mothers day, so yay for tons of pictures. Sunday will hopefully be a down day for the most part.

I saw Ubisoft made some gameplay improvements to Star Wars: Outlaws so I’ll spin that back up and check it out. I will try GameStop this weekend to get AC Shadows. I have been driving around with my PS4. :rofl:

The game of Life. Not the board game. Played some games last night though. We had a blast playing Hidden Leaders and Guillotine.

Finalizing a few things in the nursery now that we got all the stuff from the baby shower and a small day trip.

What things do you want to do this weekend? Strike the setpiece from last event, and build the new one. Update the lighting rig laptop to W11. Possibly update to MyDMX4. Control 30 keeners.

Well it turns out the SSD in my gaming rig began kicking the bucket last weekend and death’s embrace began this week (coincidentally right when I started downloading DOOM: The Dark Ages and had reached the end of Clair Obscur). Luckily I had one in an enclosure I was using for extra game storage and my current one had enough legs left in it to boot into Windows so last night I was able to make a clone of it. I pulled my PC this morning to have it ready to go so I can perform the operation on my lunch break (I have an ITX case that uses a sandwich style layout and the m.2 slot on the MOBO is on the back of it so it’s a bit more involved than a regular SSD swap). All goes according to plan and I should have the PC up and ready to roar when I get off work.

Assuming that all goes according to plan tonight I’m planning on playing some Space Marine 2 with my fiancée’s cousins (she’s an only child so they’re in effect her brothers). I’ve never played it and don’t know jack about Warhammer so it should be an interesting time. Otherwise I’d like to dive headfirst into DOOM: The Dark Ages and make more headway into 100%ing Clair Obscur.

Tomorrow is my fiancée’s uncle’s birthday so we’ll probably drop by to say hi and visit a bit. Sunday is my brother’s birthday so we’re planning a Costco run on our way into town to visit everyone. If the weather’s clear I’d also like to work on some outdoor projects since my ab strain is mostly mended up now.

Honestly I’m not much of a coffee drinker at all. If I do drink it I just use our Keurig and drink it black but that’s few and far between. I just don’t like being that wired first thing in the morning.

Sure, a lot of the tracks on the Clair Obscur soundtrack are certified bangers and most of them are classical or opera (not even factoring in how excellent the game is it’s a all-time great OST for a film or game, just fantastic stuff).

It’s a long weekend here in Canada and I plan to get as much gaming in as possible. I got back into The Last of Us II so that’s completely on the docket for this weekend. I may play some Tempest Rising if I need a break and a different change of scenery for a bit.

What things do you want to do this weekend?
It’s looking to be pretty wet here most of the weekend but if I get a nice day I’ll likely got out golfing. Aside from that I’m going to set my expectations really low as I watch the Toronto Maple Leafs struggle to keep their hopes alive.

Drip for sure. I’ll do instant if I have to, but it’s not my first choice.

I choose instant honestly. My parents always drink it, that’s the first coffee I had as a young child (yes my mother used to give me sips of coffee as a baby), and also even though I dislike both at least instant doesn’t taste strong burnt flavor. Coffee wise though I prefer fresh ground coffee beans and that’s what I buy. We use an aeropress.

Yea, I wouldn’t say I’m like one of those huge classical fans but I do love classical lol especially the darker stuff. I mean some of my most favorite video game music ever is Dark Souls/Bloodbourne music.
