My customer imported folders and files from dropbox into Google Drive.
I can find many of the files using Google Vault but the files are reported as being owned by a non-email account in Google. I’m trying to find out where they are in Gdrive so they can be moved to a specific user.

I’d appreciate any help or be pointed to the right forum.

I’m not familiar with that process. Is there a tool you used for the export/import?

Any Google-based import tool should have set the user as owner of the files at the time of import.

If you are a Google Workspace customer, you could use Google Support’s help to find the files/folders, and then proceed to change ownership of the files/folders.

Random thought; did the import create a Google Team Drive, and put the files there? If so, it is relatively easy to add people to the Team Drive via the Google Workspace Admin Console and give them access to the files & folders.
