I need to install MS O365 to 92 PC’s, using only one account - the administrator account associated with/registered with the office. Is this even possible? IF so, how do go about it? I tried the same way I’d do it with MS Office 2019 Professional Plus but this one won’t budge. I am going to run out of instals soon as her admin account is only able to install 5 instances. I have 92 TO GET TO… I’d also like to be able to activate the installation using the key I got from MS without logging in.

Kindly assist

Use https://config.office.com/ , create an install customization file, and you should be able to download for each machine without using a user license.

If you really want, you can even download the files and do the install from a local source.

Or…if you have MDT/SCCM you can push from there.

Have you used the Office deployment tool before? Configuration options for the Office Deployment Tool - Deploy Office | Microsoft Learn

EDIT: or use config.office.com… probably much easier, haha. Thanks @jordanmamet8400

This is against their licensing agreement. Each of those 5 installs is meant to be for that one user. If you have 92 users, you need 92 licenses. No other legal way around it.

So short answer to your question - no, this is not possible.

Dim is correct. Their model is based on users do each of the machines must be licensed to a user.

You could certainly use the Office Deployment Tool to download the installations and then deploy them to the machines. However, you still need to have active licenses for each user.

Good luck!

@dimforest already answered this, but I’ll pile on. Each O365 license is for a single user, not computer. You need a license for each user, unless you have users with 5 computers; then they each need one license of O365 and they can install/activate it on their 5 computers. Otherwise you’re in violation of the terms of use on the license.

does it mean that I have to create the 92 users and assign them the same Activation key?
