I am changing jobs and need to change my Community email address.

I went to my Community Settings, put in my new email address and clicked Update Address.

I received an email with instructions to reply with my current email address and new email address, which I did, but I haven’t heard anything since.

How long does this normally take?

In the past I’ve just emailed communitymanagers@spiceworks.com. Hard to say how much time Sean (Spiceworks) has available to help, being so close to SpiceWorld and all, but they might be able to get it done. See you next week!

Thanks for the help. I wasn’t thinking about SpiceWorld causing delays so I guess I won’t bother them too much. Hopefully I don’t need access to my old email address to complete the change.

And I apologize for the delayed reply. Much like Waffle suggested, SpiceWorld has been gearing up and dedicating a lot of time to that. Can’t believe it’s next week! And I know some SpiceHeads are already here for it!

Actually, I found the issue since I can see what you were trying to do on the backend. It looks like you may have tried to sign up for a Community Account previously with your personal email address which is tying it up. I’ll go ahead and force that verified and then swap the two email addresses so you can use your personal one to log in.

Give me like 10 minutes and you should be good to go. Use the same password but your personal email addy.
