Hello,

Recently, I changed our Spiceworks install to force SSL, and redirect from http to https. Everything went fine, except that some of your ads displayed throughout the apps are delivered via http, not https.

The http delivery means that chrome doesn’t display the full https secured site logo. it’s not a critical issue, but it annoys my boss, and it means we can’t make Spiceworks externally accessible for compliance reasons.

Is there anyway to force the ads to SSL, or would you consider changing your delivery protocols for this?

I’ve attached some screenshots that may help out.

Thanks,

Steve

Hey Steve! I’m pinging this to a couple of our devs to see if we have an answer for you. Just want to make sure that you know we’re not totally ignoring your thread. This is just beyond my own technical knowledge of the ins and outs of our app. :] Sit tight!

Thanks!

Hey Steven! We’re actually in the process of making sure that everything we offer runs through https. I talked to our ad dev and trafficking teams and they’ve assured me that they’re working towards full https for the ads as well. Hope this helps!
