Earlier this week, I had a pretty specific problem. Thanks to the the help of three different folks on the forum, I got it resolved. Two of these guys pointed me in the right direction. The third guy was having the exact same problem!

Thanks to the input from these three IT pros, I got things up and running. Not only that, but I was able to help the third person – the one with the same problem – get across the finish line himself.

This is the way our community is supposed to work. Thanks Spiceworks!

That’s half the fun for me, watching a conversation and learning new things. Granted I don’t always remember the answer, but I remember it’s here and I can find it again later.

So fellow IT guys 'n’gals, I have been working away with my band Impyus for the last 4 years, gigging, touring and writing new music while holding down this IT job to help fund my endeavours. We have got to a point where we have been reasonably successful so far in a nationwide music competition, the end result of which will see us on a UK tour with support from a major independent label. I was a religious lurker of this community for many years. I recently started getting more involved in the community after personally being helped countless times by the advice provided.
