I need to scan a client on another network

Hi,
I need to scan a computer that is on a network segment different from mine. Can i use spiceworks to perform this task ?

Between the two network segments there is one or more router

Can you ping or otherwise connect to that computer? If so, then yes.

I connect to another location by VPN from the Spiceworks server and then scan all the computers at that location.

Yes, i can ping the machine on the other subnet.

Well, as long as the Spiceworks machine can ping that system, and all the other factors are taken into account - WMI setup, firewall, account.
