I have Server HP Proliant ML310e Gen. 8 working on windows server 2008r2. The existing Ram is 4X 2GB. I bough 2 new RAM 8GB, but I cannot install it. Could any one support . On how to install it?

Where exactly you are stuck? Is it that you have pugged in the RAMs but they are not showing in OS or you cant insert the RAM’s on MB.

Yes, need more information where you are stuck or a picture.

You will most likely need to replace the Ram in a Pair, meaning two same color bays 1 for each stick.

Iam able to fix it in the MB, but system keep on 90% loading then restart. The system cannot configure it. I tried to install it the white slot but still the same

Did you verify that the brand and model of RAM you purchased is compatible with your server?

Also, Server 2008 R2 is woefully out of date. Please make sure you are securing this appropriately.

Do you get any warnings during bios and startup? Does the memory show in BIOS? Did you add the 8Gb chips to the first bank? Some HP require largest memory chips be in the first memory bank to function properly.
