Intel’s new CEO is changing the game with a background in nuclear engineering, really!
And that’s just the beginning. He plans to focus Intel on engineering, listen closely to input from customers, and create products that solve problems and drive success. Lip-Bu Tan says the Intel 18A process technology remains on schedule with high-volume production expected in the second half of the year with the Panther Lake client computing processor.
Intel’s new leader jumped in, fueled by collaboration, humility, quantum physics, and a relentless customer focus. Lip-Bu Tan is more down-to-earth than some guy in a flashy leather jacket!
He believes in under promising and overdelivering with a customer-centric approach to designing new technology.
It’s like Yoda is running a tech company.
He could probably wave two fingers and create a new chip! We think technology just got a little more interesting! Learn more about how Lip-Bu is helping to reshape the future of technology!

Pat Gelsinger was a programmer and designed processers and was the cto but then left for emc and vmware and put his business hat on.
Maybe this is good. Engineers don’t always make the best tech CEO’s though so I am curious and excited to see how this goes.
