Hi. I’m Anita. I’ve been an IT Noob since 1987 when personal computers began invading the legal industry.

I’m still learning although luckily, I know more than the end users (so far). My favorite thing is training. Its all in the training baby! If a developer can’t get it right, then the training will make it all right!

Some of my made up tech sayings:

Word: “Be in the paragraph” (to change formatting) - Namaste

Word: “Select to affect” (the font formatting)

“Is the computer making you play Where’s Waldo?” (can’t find a function/feature key which is right in front of them)

Do what Ben Franklin always used to say, “Save and Save Often”

Welcome Anita! I love the Where’s Waldo reference. Saying something like “Yeah, sometimes the keyboard can seem like Where’s Waldo” is a much better thing to say than “It’s right THERE, George.” Seems kinder and like you are sharing the experience of frustration rather than mocking.

You’re welcome. I have may be more than ten years experience in website designing but works fluent with WordPress. Do little coding on PHP, HTML, CSS… You’re welcome. If you’re interested I may get you involved in one or two projects I have now. Basically, website that drives income to clients.

Hello! I am new to Spiceworks and I stumbled across this while trying to look for ways to network. I work in network security for the National Guard and am currently in, just hit my 12-year anniversary, didn’t get cake or anything cool.

My hobbies include gaming, not PC just yet, but PS4 or mobile and I am pretty great at shooting games and racing games. Looking forward to seeing what Spiceworks is about!

I’m Randy Phillips. I work at Siemens Industry as a controls specialist. We primarily deal with BAS controls but IT is fast becoming a large part of our site responsibilities.
