New to the community so if I’m posting in the wrong area please let me know & thanks in advance.
I have recently found a need to audit workstations that are not connected to our domain (actually detatched from the same physical network). I guess I need to have a scheduled audit that would securely send the audit results via email or http/ftp upload without end user intervention/knowledge.
This is a unique situation in that the end user(s) have administrative access to these Windows workstations. We are trying to maintain legalities in licensure without a lot of administrative overhead (give the end user some freedom while we cover our butts legally and without babysitting the workstations).
Interested in anything & everything, even flaming :-). Thanks again -GRMC

Hi Ken,
Typically users set up Spiceworks to scan remote sites over VPN. If you don’t have VPN access then this is currently not built into the product.

Thanks Tabrez, I already knew the limitation/requirement of Spiceworks. I was just wondering if anyone in the community has run into this same scenario & what they did with it. I do appreciate the reply but I’m wondering if I should post this topic in a different area. Thanks again -GRMC
