I current have Spiceworks running and it has successfully inventoried the subnet that the spiceworks server is running on (namely 128.0.0.0). I dont see any devices or inventory objects from any of our other subnets 128.0.2.0 or 10.128.3.0). Does the SpiceWorks inventory not work across routers/subnets or am I missing something?

I had it running on 12 subnets.

You probably need to look into the router. I had someone else do the routing and VLAN setup for me.

But, yes it can scan multiple subnets.

Sounds like you don’t have open ports between the subnets for the scan.

Anyway - best practice is to use Remote Collectors between subnets.

Yeah, use Collecting Remote Office Inventory using Multiple Spiceworks …

Its also better for performance.

And don`t forget to setup scan range(s): Adding Devices and Changing Login Accounts
