I have spice works installed on my notebook. I wouild love to take my notebook and inventory all my client sites. Only issue is I see it can only inventory one site. Am I missing something? Is there a way to do this. I rather use spice work then paying up the ying yang for solarwinds

You need to have all the subnets added to the scan range.
If you are not directly connected, you will need to setup remote collectors.
Make sure you setup accounts for each site that have admin privileges.

You could setup remote collectors at those sites to communicate back to a central site.

I am a little confused on how this works. How do I set this up to gather the data from my client sites using my notebook?

OK, I’m guessing you don’t have access to a machine at all times on these other sites to setup a remote collector to talk back to you?
If that’s the case, then you could wait until you are onsite, setup the new scan range and then scan the network. Now if these sites have the same IP subnets, this could cause some issues on a single installation of SpiceWorks.
You might be able to get some more useful info out of the following MSP guide,

Let me know if this helps!

Has this changed since 2011? I would still love to manager multiple client sites with one install. But i could not for the life of me figure out how to set this up.
