I often have alerts of workstations, in which all software seems to be uninstalled, followed by alerts that all software seems to be installed.

Which gives a huge list of alerts. What could be the cause that spiceworks thinks the software is uninstalled and installed back?

These workstations have been in the inventory for months.

2 Spice ups

Settings/Network Scan:

  • disable incremental scan
  • set scanspeed to slow

Settings/Network Scan/Show Additional Settings:

  • set “Scanner sends all data instead of deltas” to True
