I’ve noticed that a few devices show with incorrect IP addresses on Spiceworks.
For example, there’s a laptop that has the address 192.168.1.62 both on the actual laptop and within the server DNS & DHCP settings. However, Spiceworks shows it as having 192.168.1.80 when looking at reports and the workstation device list. Strangely, however, if I rescan that machine and look at the scan log, the correct IP address is being scanned, but it’s not then showing elsewhere in Spiceworks.
I’ve just upgraded to v3, but it may well have been happening in v2 as well but I didn’t notice.
