:light_bulb: Are You an Intel vPro Power User? Join the Intel vPro Masterminds! :light_bulb:

You’ve spent time in the trenches with Intel vPro. You know the ins, outs, and edge cases. Now it’s time to level up.

We’re inviting a select group of experienced IT pros to join the Intel vPro Masterminds—a private community built for the thinkers, builders, fixers, and innovators who use vPro to do more than just get the job done.

Why Join?

:brain: Talk shop with other vPro users who actually get the tech and want to push its limits.

:man_mechanic: Engage directly with Intel vPro SMEs to ask questions, share ideas, and get ahead of what’s coming next.

:trophy: Earn points for sharing your insight, completing missions, and helping the community—and then redeem them for gear in the Intel Store.

:hammer_and_wrench: Be part of a group that isn’t just about solving problems—it’s about exploring possibilities.

No fluff, no sales pitches. Just a group of IT minds that enjoy working smarter and helping others do the same.

Note: Due to internal policy, we’re unable to accept applicants currently working for government entities (including libraries, schools, and other public-sector organizations) into the program. Thanks for understanding!

:link: Interested? DM Jack Walker, you can fill out or quick survey linked here, or comment below and we’ll get you plugged in.

Let’s build something smarter, together. :wrench::speech_balloon:

May I join? Unless of course, I already belong.

Yes, you are still a part of the group. We would love to have you back and participating with us. I’ll send you a private message.

#IAmIntel

I’d love to join. Advocacy groups are a blast.

Sean,

Thanks for the interest! I sent a private message to you with next steps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello there vPro Masterminds!

I would love to get vPro functioning within our environment but, despite a few short-lived efforts, have yet to do so.

I am curious what others have done, best practices, and what expectations I should have.

Thanks for consideration!

@spiced-em Can you provide more info? How many intel vPro devices you have, steps you’ve taken, and little about your environment?

We have a handful of devices in scope, maybe 10-20 at remote offices.
Environment is Windows and hybrid; on-prem and cloud.
Site to site VPN to remote sites.

Let me know if anything further is needed.

I connected with one of our SMEs and he shared a helpful document. These links should help you get started. Keep us updated!

Hi spopat12,

I sent a private message to you. Please reply to that message to get to the next step!

#IAmIntel

Do you know where we can locate the private messages? I am not seeing it on the left or right in the UI. Thanks!

1 Spice up

Sure, here are the steps.

  1. Click your picture in the top right corner>

  2. Click the profile icon at the bottom of the list>

  3. Click on Messages tab> Then the New tab (not new message)>

Let me know if you have any issues.

#IAmIntel

Unfortunately no messages section. I can give you my email, would that work? Thanks

@spopat12

Yes, it will work, but I’m trying to avoid having your email address published on this post.

If you want to avoid that also, try this: click on my avatar and send a message.

Welcome to Spiceworks - I see this is your first post.

The messages section not showing may be due to your pepper level since you hardly have any points yet. Some features unlock for the higher levels. @Suzanne-Spiceworks maybe you can chime in on this one and clarify for @spopat12?

@ajason

I did not know that was a thing!

Thank you for tagging Suzzane. I also sent an email to our Spiceworks rep Tamara. Between the two we should be able to figure it out. :joy:

I am not fully sure on the messages section not showing with the lower levels myself, that’s why I tagged Z. I can easily see why private messaging is unlocked with more active users though.

People at trust level zero can’t send messages. That’s to prevent spammers from sending unwanted messages to tons of people. I think that @jack-intel should be able to send a message TO whoever he wants, if you are willing to do this the other way around.
