We allready have a Server infrastructure in our local network.<\/p>\n
SQL Server, DC Server and now we need a Remote Desktop Services additionally. 3 Users works from Home and want to connect with VPN to our RDS and work on the RDS.<\/p>\n
I did a lot of research on the internet about the licenses, but unfortunately I still don’t have an overview.<\/p>\n
First we need 3 User Calls and we need an extra license for RDS Server or is that included in the Windows Server Standard 2019 License ?

You’ll need a license for each user. CALs are not included. You’ll need User CALs in addition to RDS CALs. You need:<\/p>\n
1x Windows Server 2019 Standard license<\/p>\n
3x Windows Server User CALs (you probably already have these since you have existing windows servers)<\/p>\n
3x Remote Desktop Services (RDS) User CALs<\/p>\n
