Looking for tablet

Hello,

We are looking for a tablet (less than $500) with screen 15" or more. Needs to support Zoom meetings (Zoom client preferred, but can probably do with Zoom online option). This is for a rather old gent who needs the process to be as easy for him as possible to join Zoom meetings

We don’t care about brand or OS, as long as it meets the above requirements

Any suggestions?

Why not consider an older iPad? These are not particularly expensive and do Zoon great.

Another option perhaps. A touchscreen Chromebook may well suit the gent as an option. They are great for older people; simple to operate, and about 7 years of updates which is better than many tablets.

How about Kindle Fire? - Amazon has Zoom client. Anyone used this hardware? Any feedback?

The link also includes Android. Doesn’t Kindle run on Android?

Yes, Kindle has Fire OS which is on Android. I don’t see Kindle as a supported device specifically however. You’d need to make sure it’s Android 5.0x or later and with a 1 Ghz single core processor or better (non-Intel).

Will Zoom client run on Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 Android Tablet?

While I don’t have a document outright saying it will, I do believe it will work with Galaxy Tab A8 just fine. The system requirements are met and I see people saying Zoom works great with Galaxy Tab S7.
