Just as my bit of feedback, I switched to the Spiceworks beta front page, and I love it. If for no other reason than I no longer feel like I’m missing featured items that might interest me if I don’t check twice a day; also, being able to see them all at once makes browsing them much better. Thanks for the hard work!

I don’t see the option, just the one for the topics page.

I found it when I clicked on a featured article using the new topic page layout, and noticed that there was a “Featured” link superimposed on the top left corner of the feature picture. When I clicked on that, it offered to give me the beta front page.

result…NOPE. i prefer to follow the community feed, on this new page it takes a back seat to featured topics. Nothing wrong with featured topics, but that is not what I focus on.

I have to scroll down to get to the community feed and it is once again not a continues scroll, it stops after X number of topics. It would not have to take up much room if it was slide up the page and given a continuous scroll feature. Just some thoughts on it.

I like the new look, but I HATE the way reviews look now… Every damn post in the community that mentions a product shows up, with the reviews sort of sprinkled in. PITA.

You can click on reviews and just filter out the reviews if you like. But yeah I know what you mean.

To be blunt, I don’t much like that new layout, way too many pictures and the first thing anyone would see over my shoulder is “Job postings” right in the middle of the top of the screen.

Thanks for posting details on how to get it, I hope it gets some options like:

Not displaying all the pictures

Rearranging the feeds

I really shouldn’t have to do that. Turning this feature ON should be the option.

yeah, job postings should be at the bottom, still on the front though.

I’m not quite used to it yet. But I’m sure I will like it once I am.

And I had to switch back because the new topics page isn’t showing new replies all of a sudden, and I can’t have just the new front page apparently.

For the topics page, I did miss the top bar in the current style with the topic name, poster info, and spice button. Also, not sure why they left the reply button off the main topic, or why the poster info is now so tiny in it…

I hope they fix that soon, because I much prefer the new front page now to the old one.
